The ground bait bags used by Sonubaits were incredibly dated, so when a new bagging machine was installed it was time for a re-design of the bags.
My team and I carefully crafted a range of design options to select. Once the designs were narrowed down, I lead the presentation to the brand manger and CEO.
A final design was deliberated on and I organised for the artwork to be produced, making sure all deadlines were met, so as the Spanish suppliers of the bag were able to deliver the new films in time for the product launch date.
Next came the cataglogue. Photographing several bags had always proved a challenge, and with the time contstrants, producing 39 images of the bags that were perfectly presented and consistent was a tall order.
In light of this, I set up a bag in Photoshop, this gives a great representation for the website and catalogue and allowed me to get the consistency I craved.
Also by generating the artwork this way, I was able to create a Photoshop Action script that made generating the bags take mere seconds. This meant that as the images were created, they were already cut-out and could be filed appropriately on the server.
All in all, the end result looks really smart and represents the product like never before.
